FALL 2025: Sept 9 - Jan  2, 2026
APPLICATION DEADLINE: July 13th, 2025

SPRING 2026: Feb 8 - June 2
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Oct 15th, 2025
The Solidarity Immersive is a 4 month framework for meaningful volunteer work with educational, community, and human rights organizations, doing grassroots work with Palestinians and Israelis in and around Jerusalem. Participants volunteer in individualized placements, while traveling extensively, and learning with leaders in the field. Together, we build a dynamic learning community in which we explore and shape Jewish culture, identity, and activism as individuals and as part of a greater whole.

Achvat Amim focuses on developing practical skills in community building, organizing, and education through immersive volunteer projects and engaging with social change and human rights movements. We engage with the challenging realities on the ground in Israel-Palestine and the West Bank and take an active role in building on our rich history and traditions.

Achvat Amim combines participatory learning, outdoor experiences, seminars, and trips around the country with work on real projects with leading human rights and community organizations.

Note: if we do not receive the minimum 5 applicants by the above deadline, we will not run immersive programming and will  inform all applicants of the change in programming.

Who should apply?

Achvat Amim is open to all participants over the age of 18. Applicants can be students, workers, teachers, travelers, activists, all of the above, or something entirely different. The ideal applicant has been to Israel before and is familiar with some of the subject matter at hand.

We aim to bring people together who are motivated to make real change in the world around them. Achvat Amim connects participants to projects that aim to end racism, violence and inequality as an essential building block for a society based on values that are central to Judaism -  justice, equity, and peace.

We are seeking participants who are excited to develop a creative and participatory learning environment for exploring Jewish history, tradition and culture in order to build identity and community. If you have further questions, please reach out to our Outreach Coordinator, Elly at [email protected]
