Winter Insurance & Visas

Health Insurance
Health insurance is included in the program cost. You will be covered from the program start date until the program end date.  Participants responsible for having all necessary extra health and travel insurance, including but not limited to, cancellation insurance and trip interruption insurance for the duration of the program if they so choose. While programming provides basic health insurance, it does not cover pre-existing condition and participants are responsible for bringing any medication they need with them. Below is some information about our insurance plan.

Visas

Most participants enter Israel on a tourist visa, now processed in advance through the new ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) system. If you’re from a visa-exempt country, you’ll still need to submit an ETA application before arriving. Apply through the official ETA portal (we recommend applying at least 10 days before your flight).
Achvat Amim cannot provide legal advice, and we recommend checking with your local Israeli consulate or a legal advisor if you have any concerns about your visa status or eligibility. You can reach out to us with any questions!
