About Solidarity of Nations - Achvat Amim
Centered around the core value of self-determination for all peoples, Achvat Amim has spent the past 10 years training activists and standing in solidarity with communities and organizations working on a variety of justice struggles. The mutual trust and respect stewarded in these relationships allow us to bring our participants into the dense history and milieu of solidarity work on the ground. Participants engage in an experiential curriculum in which they investigate the meaning of ‘self-determination for all people in the place they call home’ through a rigorous process of collectively defining: homeland, peoplehood, and self-determination. Participants gain practical skills in community organizing, strong analytic frameworks, and access to relevant networks that empower them to become sustained actors within larger webs of cultural and political resistance. Achvat Amim is an autonomous program of Hashomer Hatzair World Movement, and works closely with Hashomer Hatzair as a key strategic partner in continuing to build the growing movement for self-determination for all people in the place they call home.
BIPOC, LGBTQ+ people, women, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
