Health Insurance We will send you the relevant forms and apply for your health insurance a month before your arrival. Health insurance is included in the program cost. You will be covered from the program start date until the program end date. While programming provides basic health insurance, it does not cover pre-existing condition and participants are responsible for bringing any medication and relevant medical supplies they need with them.
Visas Typically, participants enter the country on a tourist visa, which is issued for 3 months. This tourist visa is now processed in advance through the new ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) system.
You’ll need to submit an ETA application before arriving. Check eligibility and apply through the official ETA portal (we recommend applying at least 10 days before your flight). Achvat Amim cannot provide legal advice, and we recommend checking with your local Israeli consulate or a legal advisor if you have any concerns about your visa status or eligibility. You can reach out to Becca at [email protected] if you have specific questions regarding the visa.
If you plan to extend your stay a significant amount (i.e. apply for a work visa), we recommend speaking to a staff member about what documentation you may need to bring.
